After President Barack Obama admitted to staffers that he was frightened by the "creepy" White House snowmen, they decided to use the decorations against him.
White House staffers decided to spread some Christmas cheer by pranking the commander in chief, BuzzFeed reported.
The White House has been decorated for the holidays, and among those decorations are four snowmen which reportedly sit in the Rose Garden right outside of the Oval Office.

"There's a whole kind of Chucky element to them," Obama told People earlier this month. "They're a little creepy. I would move. If I see one of those snowmen in my bedroom, I'm moving."
According to White House photographer Pete Souza, staffers decided to play a little prank on Obama. Souza wrote on Instagram:
Sometimes you gotta have fun. For the past three weeks, there have been four snowmen on display in the Rose Garden (see photo in earlier post). We've been joking that we should move the snowmen a few feet closer to the Oval Office every day to see if anyone noticed. Then we realized the snowmen were too heavy to easily lift. But finally this morning before the President came to the office, some helpful staff--I won't say who--moved all the snowmen so each one was peeking through a different window into the Oval. This photo was taken this afternoon as the President signed end-of-the-year bills.

Several Twitter users shared their thoughts on the photo.
"Ah don't want to alarm you Mr. President but there is a creeper watching you #bettergetsecretservice," tweeted one user.
"Photobomb of the year?" one user asked.
"Is that a Russian Spy?" speculated another.
Other social media users applied their Photoshop skills to give the photo a little twist.
Souza shared another photo of Obama, who appeared to be startled by the snowman.
"Another snowman from yesterday," Souza wrote. "Yes he enjoyed the prank."
