Trump Ignores Reporter At Executive Order Signing (Video)

| by Jonathan Constante

President Donald Trump walked out of a signing ceremony without signing two executive orders and ignored a reporter who asked him a question about former national security advisor Michael Flynn (video below).

The two new executive orders were set to be signed in front of the press on March 31, Yahoo! News reported. But when Vice President Mike Pence introduced the President, Trump appeared to be in a rush to get out of the room.

"Thank you everybody. You're going to see some very, very strong results very, very quickly," Trump told the press before darting out of the room, leaving the executive orders unsigned.

At one point, Pence appears to remind Trump that he had not signed the orders. Trump then appears to signal for him to bring the orders for him to sign later.

Reactions from social media users were mixed. Some saw the incident as an indication that the president may be feeling the pressure now that his former national security advisor is set to testify before the House and Senate intelligence committees in regards to the Trump campaign's communications with Russia during the 2016 presidential race.

"This is the action of the man who said he wants to make America great again," wrote one commenter. "Thank your lucky stars he is not the temperament of our military forces. They have to perform their duty rain, shine, hot, cold, and often live under conditions that would make our leader cry and go home.

"This man is not qualified for any position in our government least of all TPOTUS and Commander in Chief!"

"Maybe our president needs more relaxing time at Mar-A whatever," wrote another. "Good luck, 4 yrs of this debacle if he survives the justice investigations."

"The real question is why he's so sensitive about a question about Flynn," observed another commenter. "Probably speculation about why Flynn asked for immunity, implying that maybe he knows something illegal was done; but maybe just a legal precaution any attorney would advise him to take."

"He had to rush off to take a phone call from his russian bosses," joked another.

Other users defended the president.

"No President or Country Leader should be continually harassed, mocked or demeanor," wrote one commenter. "Especially, by the media and oppositional party(s) to discredit and discriminate."

"Trump doesn't have to answer anything that doesn't pertain to the executive orders he needed to sign," wrote another. "He didn't whine he simply walked away from unrelated questioning! Stop asking rude questions that are under investigation, why not ask Flynn, and move on in sticking with current subjects!"

Michael Flynn has not been granted immunity as of yet, the New York Post reported.

“We are not ready to consider that,” said Senator Mark Warner, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee. “We are not even publicly acknowledging that he has contacted us.”
