Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has declared the 10,000 Syrian refugees scheduled to be admitted into the U.S. a potential “Trojan Horse.”

Making the rounds on the television circuit and campaign stops on Nov. 16, the business mogul has been blasting the Obama administration for both the war on the Islamic State group and the Syrian refugee crisis.

Appearing on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” Trump bragged that he had originated the idea of attacking the oil fields that provide the Islamic State group revenue.

"I've been saying attack the oil for two years. People would laugh, and they'd scoff, and they'd joke," Trump tells CNBC. "Now all of a sudden, they started attacking the oil because that's a significant source of their wealth."

The business mogul then took a swipe at U.S. president Barack Obama.

“We have a president who just doesn’t get it,” says Trump, according to the Sun Times. “He’s weak and ineffective.”

Trump also repeated his stance that the U.S. should work with Russia on battling the Islamic State group, CNBC reports.

During a Tennessee campaign rally later in the evening, Trump told the crowd that the Syrian refugees are a “Trojan horse,” The Hill reports.

The business mogul says that the Syrian refugees should be relocated back to their home country. He proposes the U.S. should purchase a “safe zone” to place them, adding that “believe me you get for the right price,” The Hill reports.

Just how many large sectors of peaceful land remains in Syria, which is currently torn apart by civil war, remains unclear.

The business mogul argues that the refugees pose too great a risk to be admitted into the U.S.

“We don’t even know who they are,” Trump claims, according to The Hill. “There’s no paperwork.”

As for the Islamic State group, Trump told the crowd “I’m gonna bomb the [expletive] out of them.”

Trump then told the crowd that Obama uses too much diplomacy rather than action.

“"You know the movies,” Trump says, according to The Hill. “Shoot first, talk later… You shoot first, you talk about it later."
