Katrina Pierson, the spokeswoman for Republican Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, wore a bullet necklace during an appearance on CNN on Dec. 29 (video below).
Pierson was defending Trump's recent barbs against former President Bill Clinton, whose wife Hillary Clinton is the Democratic presidential front-runner, when she sported the unique jewelry, RawStory.com notes. The necklace consisted of bullet cartridges linked together.
In response to Pierson's choice of jewelry, Shannon Watts, who founded Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, tweeted, "Surely @KatrinaPierson wore bullet necklace on #CNN to bring attention to 90 Americans fatally shot daily #gunsense.”
Pierson tweeted back: “Maybe I’ll wear a fetus next time& bring awareness to 50 million aborted people that will never ger to be on Twitter," Pierson tweeted in response.
Pierson also appeared on CNN on Dec. 28, where she clashed over the Clintons with MediaMatters.org founder David Brock who accused her of repeating "trash from the Washington Free Beacon," a far right wing website.
