Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has penned a new book, “Crippled America: How to Make America Great Again.” Featuring an angry Trump on the cover, the book was released on Nov. 3.

“Crippled America” lays out why Trump is running for president, elaborating on what he finds wrong with the U.S. and how he would fix it, The Associated Press reports.

"This book is designed to give the reader a better understanding of me and my ideas for our future," the business mogul writes. "I'm a really nice guy, but I'm also passionate and determined to make our country great again."

Readers will be taken aback by the book’s cover, which features of scowling Trump. The business mogul claims he decided on the downer title and “horrible, mean picture” because they reflect on his anger over the current state of America.

Trump was surprised that publisher Simon & Schuster allowed him to pick such a “tough, nasty title,” Business Insider reports.

Some clips from “Crippled America” reveal personal details about Trump, including why he chose to switch from the Democratic Party to Republican, his thoughts on the “gotcha” media and his history of failed marriages, The Washington Post reports.

Trump lays out his policy proposals throughout “Crippled America.” These include his desire to limit the Department of Education, allowing wealthy citizens to turn down social security benefits, and his dismissal of green energy research as “just an expensive way of making the tree-huggers feel good about themselves,” according to The Washington Post.

Trump compares his plan for building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border favorably to the Israeli wall along the West Bank. He also doubles down on his stance that immigrants in the country illegally take away jobs from underemployed Americans, Yahoo News reports.

Trump claims “Crippled America” is the most effort he has put into a book since his 1987 “The Art of the Deal.” At an Iowa campaign rally in October, he told the crowd that “I worked so hard on it ... frankly, I think the title is amazing,” according to Business Insider.

“Crippled America” has 169 pages and the hardback will cost $25, Yahoo News reports.
