Trump Praises Putin's Response To Obama

| by Michael Allen

President-elect Donald Trump praised Russian President Vladimir Putin on Dec. 30, for Putin's response to President Barack Obama's sanctions against Russia for reported hacking during the U.S. election.

Putin said that Russia would not retaliate for Obama’s sanctions, which included expelling from the U.S. 35 Russian officials, notes The Hill.

In response, Trump tweeted: "Great move on delay (by V. Putin) -- I always knew he was very smart!"

The Russian Embassy in Washington, D.C., retweeted Trump's support.

Both Trump and Russia have denied that the Russian government interfered in the U.S. election, despite U.S. intelligence agencies claiming the Kremlin hacked emails belonging to the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton advisor John Podesta.

While Trump sided with Putin, he also criticized two news networks for not jumping onboard as well.

Trump tweeted Dec. 30: "Russians are playing [CNN] and [NBC News] for such fools -- funny to watch, they don't have a clue! [Fox News] totally gets it!"

Trump was mocked by many on Twitter for his praise of Putin, notes RawStory.com:

Not only is a (Republican) President-elect siding with Russia over his own country -- he made it his pinned tweet!

US imposes sanctions on Russia based US intelligence; Trump sides with Putin over country. Beyond chilling.

[T]ried to tweet something funny but Putin poisons/murders political opponents & journalists who tell the truth. nothing funny bout that s[***].

Thanks, everyone who voted so this guy could be in a position of power to side w/ RUSSIA over the United States of America.

What a deal for Putin. Yeah, you lose 35 agents and a couple compounds in the U.S. But you get this in 3 weeks.

I'm worried when 2017 starts I'll keep forgetting to write 'United States of Russia' on my checks.

The U.S. president-elect aligns himself with the president of Russia and against the current American president.

Imagine if a Dem sided with Russia against a sitting Repub. president. It would cause an explosion. What a dangerous doofus this guy is.

GOP is now the Party of Putin.

Your future President just sided with Russia against the government. Now who's Anti-American? Idiots.
