President Donald Trump had members of his Cabinet and his senior staff praise him in front of TV cameras during a White House meeting on June 12 (video below).
"This is the greatest privilege of my life is to serve as vice president to a president who's keeping his word to the American people," Vice President Mike Pence said, notes CNN. "And assembling a team that's bringing real change, real prosperity, real strength back to our nation."
Attorney General Jeff Sessions added: "It's an honor to be able to serve you in that regard and to send the exact right message, and the response is fabulous around the country."
"I want to thank you for getting this country moving again, and working again," Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao said.

White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, whose job has been the subject of intense speculation, praised the president: "On behalf of the entire senior staff around you, Mr. President, we thank you for the opportunity and the blessing that you’ve given us to serve your agenda and the American people."
"It's a new day at the United Nations. We now have a very strong voice," Nikki Haley, the US ambassador to the UN, added. "People know what the United States is for. They know what we're against. They see us leading across the board."
Health Secretary Tom Price also added on to the praise: "Mr. President, what an incredible honor it is to lead the Department of Health and Human Services at this time under your leadership."
"I can't thank you enough for the privileges you've given me and the leadership that you've shown," Price added, notes the New York Daily News. "And we’re continuing to work very hard every day to accomplish these goals."

Trump joined in by comparing himself to President Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR): "Never has there been a president, with few exceptions ... FDR, he had a major depression to handle ... who has passed more legislation and who has done more things than what we’ve done."
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer mocked Trump's meeting by having his staff praise him, notes Mediaite.com.
One staffer told Schumer, "Your tone was perfect, you were right on message," while a second added: "You have great hair, nobody has better hair than you."
A third staffer said: "Before we go any further, I just want to say thank you for the opportunity and blessing to serve your agenda."
Schumer and his staff dissolved into laughter.
