Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on June 18 that former GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush was part of a movement within the party to oppose him at the convention.

"Jeb is working on the movement, just so you understand," Trump told a rally in Las Vegas, reports The Hill.

"Jeb is one of the people that's working, and the other one should be obvious," Trump added.

The presumptive Republican nominee didn't name the second operative in the alleged effort.

Trump seemed to dismiss the idea at an earlier at the rally: "It's all made up by the press, folks. It's a hoax. This is a story — who are they going to pick? I beat everybody. I beat the hell out of them."

Dozens of GOP delegates are plotting to block Trump at the convention, according to a June 17 report by The Washington Post.

These Republicans are reportedly upset at Trump for attacking a federal judge's Mexican heritage, calling for a ban on Muslims entering the U.S. and suggesting a change in gun laws.

"First of all, it's illegal," Trump stated, according to The Hill. "Second of all, you can't do it. Third of all, we, not me, we got 13, almost 14 million, votes since the primary system."

"All of the discussion about the RNC Rules Committee acting to undermine the presumptive nominee is silly," Republican National Committee communications director Sean Spicer said in a written statement. "There is no organized effort, strategy or leader of this so-called movement. It is nothing more than a media creation and a series of tweets."

Trump's poll numbers have been dropping against Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Clinton is leading Trump 47 to 40 percent among registered voters in a new Monmouth University poll released on June 20. An additional five percent said they would support another candidate, while six percent are undecided and two percent are not supporting any candidates or refused to respond.
