Trump: Hillary Clinton Was The Worst Secretary Of State In U.S. History

| by Amanda Andrade-Rhoades

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s campaign seems to be in its death throes and it’s not even an election year - his corporate sponsors and partners are dumping him left and right for his derogatory comments on Mexican immigrants

Still, that hasn’t stopped him from attacking Democratic presidential front runner Hillary Clinton.

"Hillary Clinton was the worst secretary of state in the history of the United States. On top of that, she is extremely bad on illegal immigration," Trump said in a statement to Business Insider. "Despite anything you may hear to the contrary, I do not think she is electable."

Trump made the remark after Clinton said she was disappointed in his comments about Mexican immigrants.

"I've very disappointed in those comments," Clinton told CNN. "And I feel very bad and very disappointed with him and with the Republican Party for not responding immediately and saying, 'Enough. Stop it.'"

Trump made his remarks on Mexican immigrants during a speech announcing his candidacy, The Hill reported. “(Mexico is) sending people who have a lot of problems,” Trump said at the time. “They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists,” he said. “And some, I assume, are good people.”
