Video footage (below) has emerged showing President Donald Trump meeting with key figures who are now at the center of the "Russiagate" allegations.
The video, obtained by CNN, shows Trump attending a June 2013 dinner in Las Vegas with Russian billionaire Aras Agalarov, his pop star son, Emin Agalarov, and their publicist, Rob Goldstone.
In a June 3 email reported by The New York Times, Goldstone told Trump Jr.: "Emin just called and asked me to contact you with something very interesting. The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father. What do you think is the best way to handle this information and would you be able to speak to Emin about it directly?"
Goldstone added: "This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump."

Trump Jr. promptly replied: "If it’s what you say I love it especially later in the summer." Then he reportedly provided Goldstone with his private cell phone number.
Four days later, after several more email exchanges, Goldstone wrote back, proposing a meeting in New York with a "Russian government attorney."
Trump Jr. agreed, adding that he would most likely bring along “Paul Manafort (campaign boss)” and “my brother-in-law,” Jared Kushner, now one of the president’s closest White House advisers.

On June 9, the Russian lawyer -- Natalia Veselnitskaya -- met with Trump Jr. as planned at Trump Tower.
The video obtained by CNN consists of a series of clips from the eve of the Miss USA pageant, and also documents more than three minutes of interaction between Trump, the Agalarovs and Goldstone.
Trump Jr. does not appear in the video, but the president's personal attorney, Michael Cohen, and his director of Oval Office operations, Keith Schiller, both make appearances.
In a dinner clip, Trump is seated across from Aras and beside Emin, who is seated next to Goldstone, who is seen engaging in a brief conversation with the future president.
Another clip shows a conversation between Trump Sr. and the Agalarovs before the dinner, where Emin introduces his mother and sister to Trump Sr., who responds in his characteristic fashion: "Whoa, look at this! Now I'm glad we're going to dinner. What a beautiful mother you have! Well, you produce good looking stuff, right? Beautiful stuff."
In a scene from the Miss USA 2013 red carpet ceremony, Trump Sr. says of the Agalarovs: "These are the most powerful people in all of Russia, the richest men in Russia."
He also suggested that the forthcoming Miss Universe pageant in Russia would be good for U.S.-Russia relations.
"I have great respect for Russia," he said. "And to have the Miss Universe pageant in Moscow, in the most important location, the most beautiful building, in your convention center, with such amazing partners, I mean it's going to be fantastic for detente, or whatever you want to say. I think it's a great thing for both countries, and honestly they really wanted it in Russia -- badly. Politically they wanted it."
