The war of words between Sarah Palin's camp and the author of a scathing book about her has escalated, a day after information contained in the book leaked out. The National Enquirer reported that the book includes allegations of past cocaine use by Palin and husband Todd, as well as Sarah Palin's alleged one-night stand with former NBA star Glen Rice.

Todd Palin fired off a statement that said the book, titled "The Rogue" is filled with "disgusting lies, innuendo and smear." The New York Daily News reports that the statement said of author Joe McGinniss:

"This is a man who has been relentlessly stalking my family to the point of moving in right next door to us to harass us and spy on us to satisfy his creepy obsession with my wife."

However McGinniss is standing by his reporting.  Appearing on the "Today Show" on Thursday he called Palin an "utter fraud," adding "At best she's a hypocrite. At worst, she's a vindictive hypocrite."

The guy is a nut case. He moved in next door to Sarah Palin and tried getting the opportunity to film her activities on her own property. The guy is a loser and a stalker. What kind of writer is so obsessed with someone that they move right next door to them and works on a project every day to destroy that person? This guy has been obsessed with one individual for years on end. Is that creepy or what? Anyone who would listen to a guy like this has a few screws loose themselves (or an agenda not based on fact).

Liberalism is a mental disease.
