Rush Limbaugh Compares Obamacare To Slavery (AUDIO)

With the major implementation date for the Affordable Care Act rapidly approaching, conservatives who oppose the initiative are doing whatever they can to stand in the way.

Rush Limbaugh was arguing against Obamacare on his radio show on Thursday when he made a comparison that most people would probably not agree with, Mediaite reported.

After pointing out that Obamacare might be enacted because “it’s the law of the land,” Limbaugh said, “What else at one time was the ‘law of the land?’Slavery!”

Limbaugh then went on to list other things that used to be the law of the land. He named:

- “Defense of Marriage Act.”

- “The speed limit used to be 55; now it’s 70.”

- “Immigration law.”

- “Guns, Second Amendment.”

- “Laws against marijuana.”

Limbaugh questioned why Democrats are allowed to get rid of “bad laws” hey don’t like. “Is that the only way they can defend this?” Limbaugh asked. “Is that the best they’ve got? ‘It’s the law of the land’?”
