Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who is vying for the Republican nomination for president, had his campaign speech cut short on Feb. 8 at a Rotary Club luncheon in Nashua, New Hampshire (video below).

As a Rotary official approached Bush, the GOP presidential candidate froze and said, "That's it? Thank you."

“They’re kicking me out the door,” Bush added while waving his arms. "They're kicking me out the door."

“Governor, thank you very much for joining us today,” the Rotary official said. ”I believe your schedule has a hard stop.”

“I’m really proud of Jeb,” the candidate's younger brother Neil Bush told The Washington Post at the luncheon. “You know, he’s persisted and in spite of his last name, he’s showing people in New Hampshire that he is the best qualified guy and that message is resonating. He’s standing up to the bully -- to [Donald] Trump -- like no other candidate has, and I think he’s really gotten what we’re now calling ‘Jebmentum.’”

Bush did surprise observers by placing third in the New Hampshire primary on Feb. 9, squeaking ahead of Republican Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida.
