Tonight's GOP presidential debate, like the second-tier debate before it, will take place in a gun-free zone, the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
The Quicken Loans Arena website states: "In accordance with the Ohio’s 'concealed carry' law and the right for private entities to ban handguns on their premises, firearms and other weapons of any kind are strictly forbidden on the premises of Quicken Loans Arena."
Republican frontrunner Donald Trump slammed gun-free zones last month on Twitter: "Get rid of gun free zones. The four great marines who were just shot never had a chance. They were highly trained but helpless without guns."
ThinkProgress recently contacted some of Trump's properties, and three said they banned guns: Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago, Trump National Golf Club in Los Angeles and Trump International Hotel Waikiki Beach Walk in Honolulu.

The Trump International Hotel & Tower Central Park in New York City and Trump International Hotel Las Vegas said they do allow guns.
