Rep. Alen Grayson: 'The Tea Party Is No More Popular Than The Klan' (Video)

During an interview Thursday with MSNBC’s Al Sharpton, Rep. Alan Grayson argued that the Tea Party is no more popular than the Ku Klux Klan.

Interestingly, even the Ku Klux Klan reported that it does not support the Tea Party.

“They have compromised their agenda to support the Progressive Socialist enslavement of the American people,” the Klan wrote in 2010.

Grayson predicted that Americans will vote out Tea Partiers in the next Congressional election so they can have the government they deserve.

“They want their money back,” Grayson said, “and they want the Tea Party out of their lives.”

The representative, who is known to be highly critical of Republicans, said that Tea Party members and anyone willing to cater to them leave Washington. He argued that the party was the largest suicide pact in history.

“John Boehner has become a short-order cook for the far right wing,” Grayson said. “He takes whatever they want and he lays it out there as if it's the right thing to do.”
