Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump held a peaceful rally inside the San Jose Convention Center in California on June 2, but outside the event some of Trump's supporters were attacked by protesters (video below).
Several reporters posted videos of incidents, Mediaite notes.
CNN's Sara Murray tweeted a video with the caption: "Protesters cornering Trump supporters as they leave. This woman taunted them. They cornered her & threw eggs at her."
Tim Pool with Fusion posted a video of a man bleeding from his head with the caption: "#Trump supporter attacked and left bleeding in San Jose."

Murray also tweeted: "Protesters also cornered a couple who were NOT antagonizing them. They closed in on the couple, threw water at them and spit in their faces."
"Protesters are spilling into the street and blocking traffic. One is burning an American flag. Others chanting 'whose streets?!'"
M. Scott Mahaskey of POLITICO tweeted a video of a fight with: "Punches thrown in clashes following @realDonaldTrump rally in San Jose."
Mahaskey tweeted another brawl video and wrote: "Fighting continues in streets following @realDonaldTrump rally in San Jose."
According to Breitbart, about 100 anti-Trump protesters, some waving Mexican flags, tore up an American flag and shouted: "America was never great! F--- Donald Trump and his hate!"
The conservative news site said that inside the convention center Trump was heckled by a protester and replied: "Now, leave him alone. We’ve gotta be nice. Don’t hurt him. See the way I say that? I’ve learned. Don’t hurt him."
Trump also noted Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's blistering speech about him earlier in the day.
"The only reason she’s behaving like this, and the only reason she’s leaning so far left, is that she doesn’t want to go to jail over the emails!" Trump stated.
"Hillary Clinton has to go to jail," he added later. "She’s guilty."
Trump gave Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont a backhanded compliment by saying "Crazy Bernie" had the "second-biggest" crowds.
Trump also softened on a former rival: "[Texas Sen.]Ted Cruz is no longer a liar. We don’t say 'Lyin' Ted' anymore. We love Ted."
Trump coined a new schoolyard insult: "Lyin', Crooked Hillary."
