A clip of President Donald Trump rehearsing as he headed to speak to a joint session of Congress on Feb. 28 has gone viral. But while many people took notice of the president reading aloud from a piece of paper, First Lady Melania Trump's behavior in the video went largely under the radar -- until now (video below).
In the clip, in which the presidential motorcade transports the Trumps to the Capitol building in the rain, Mrs. Trump is seen cracking a smile next to the president while she turns her head away from cameras, stifling laughter.
The lighthearted moment went largely unnoticed, even after stories have spread that the first lady hates her new life in politics. Some have even questioned whether Mrs. Trump is in an abusive relationship based on the way that she flinches and reacts when her husband touches her.
"Melania is unhappy with how her life ended up," one family source reportedly told Us Weekly in February. "She is miserable."

However, another unnamed source reportedly countered to the publication that "she is very happy with her life and supporting her husband and family."
But on Feb. 28, the first lady was all smiles in her black sequined Michael Kors jacket and matching skirt, a set estimated to have cost her nearly $10,000, for which she has received both compliments and criticism, notes The New York Times.
The president's speech was widely lauded as a success, even among many of his usual critics. In his address, Trump avoided discussing the details of his more controversial policies and instead vowed to start "a new chapter of American greatness," according to CNN.
"From now on, America will be empowered by our aspirations, not burdened by our fears; inspired by the future, not bound by failures of the past; and guided by a vision, not blinded by our doubts," Trump said in the House of Representatives.

The president, whose approval ratings are at a record low for a new commander-in-chief, reached across the aisle and asked for unity even from his opponents who did not vote for him and have vocally opposed him since his first days in office.
"I am asking all citizens to embrace this renewal of the American spirit," he added. "I am asking all members of Congress to join me in dreaming big, and bold, and daring things for our country. I am asking everyone watching tonight to seize this moment. Believe in yourselves. Believe in your future. And believe, once more, in America."
