Almost 6 in 10 Americans don’t trust Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton, according to a Quinnipiac University poll.
The poll, released Dec. 22, showed that 59 percent of voters found the former secretary of state not to be honest and trustworthy, with 35 percent believing the opposite.
The survey also showed that nearly one-fifth of likely Democratic voters and 72 percent of independent voters do not trust Clinton, and a significant number of voters would be embarrassed if she were to be elected in 2016.
Of those polled 55 percent said they do not believe Clinton shares their values.
