White House Pastry Chef Bill Yosses Resigns

White House executive pastry chef Bill Yosses is resigning after first lady Michelle Obama reinvented his job description to focus on healthier foods.

Yosses had replaced butter with fruit puree and sugar with honey and agave. However, Yosses was never happy with the new policy.

“I don’t want to demonize cream, butter, sugar and eggs,” Yosses said.

The pastry chef was originally hired by Laura Bush to make his trademark cookie plates and sugar sculptures.

Now, Yosses will begin a project focusing on “food literacy” in New York City and reunite with his husband.

In a statement, Michelle Obama said she is sorry to see Yosses leave the White House.

“I am also so grateful to him for his outstanding work,” she said. “I wish Bill and his husband, Charlie, all the best in their future endeavors.”
