Video: Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer Calls Pres. Obama "Thin-Skinned"
On Thursday, MSNBC's 'Morning Joe' discussed yesterday’s intense meeting between President Barack Obama and Arizona Governor Jan Brewer.
According to Gov. Brewer, the president felt her memoir Scorpions for Breakfast had been disrespectful to him.
On the airport tarmac last night, Gov. Brewer told reporters (video below): "I wanted to be there to welcome him to come and see firsthand what Arizona has done in regards to our economic recovery; he wanted to talk about the book. And I thought that he was pretty thin-skinned."
Sales of Gov. Brewer's book have reportedly gone up 150 percent on Amazon.com over the past 24 hours.

You hate BHO so much that you'll say anything derogatory about him without a thought to whether it is true or even possible.
There are plenty of failings we should all be pointing out in his presidency. To waste efforts of stupid things like the "birthers", and the ignorance you demonstrate here only destroys the credibility of the real issues.
People like you are the worst enemies of the Opposition. It's so stupid that perhaps the Obama staff is encouraging it. There little else that could work so well in guaranteeing him a second term.
If freedom means anything, it is the liberty to tell others what they do not want to hear.
Without the ability to articulate or identify any valid complaints, your run-of-the-mill idiot will resort to repeating jokes (not smart enough to make their own)and spouting outright fabrications - such as Obama overspending and/or raising everyone's taxes. While I have MANY valid complaints about Obama (failing to seek prosecution of Bush/Cheney for their crimes, ACTA, NDAA, not finding a way to close the Gitmo prison after congress denied the funds to do so, etc. In other words, he's far too much like his predecessor.) I shudder to think of the damage that our country and the world would suffer should one of the front-runners in the opposition party actually win. I'll vote for Obama again only because the alternatives are so much worse.
On the other hand, if Paul won the nomination I'd be voting republican this year - something I was sure I'd never do again, but I vote on my principles and not on party.
Good points again. I've said that Obama could be "W's" hand-picked successor. It's the things he hasn't done that are true failures. We're still in counter-productive wars, As you said, Guantanamo Prison is still running, he didn't cancel the Bail-Out (AKA robbery) that was planned buy the Bush administration, and he has done little to help the economy.
The Republicans should blow off this election and save their resources for 2016. Maybe by then, they can find someone who is not a disaster as a human being to run.
BHO is doing such a good job for them right now, who could they find better?
If freedom means anything, it is the liberty to tell others what they do not want to hear.
Obama decides to go out one day and see what it's really like for the workers, so he puts on a disguise and sneaks out of the White House. After a while he wanders into a cinema. When the film has finished, the American Anthem plays and a huge picture of Obama appears on the screen. Everyone stands up and begins singing, except Obama, who smugly remains seated. A minute later a man behind him leans forwards and whispers in his ear: "Listen Comrade, we all feel exactly the same way you do, but trust me, it's a lot safer if you just stand up."
And the problem is?
Jan Brewer has a long history of typical GOP incompetence and ignorance, so I have no doubt that she published the book without even considering that there might be some blowback from the way that she says certain things or portrays members of the party that the GOP has openly admitted that they are at ends with and will not work with, no matter the results.
If she was going to put the President in a bad light, then she should at least have her ducks in a row and be able to back it up without getting upset that she got caught in her words. You would think that, after getting caught in their stupidity so often, the members of the GOP would learn to be more diplomatic; or at least get a thicker skin when caught in their own bad judgement.
The insanity principle is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results. The far right, the far left, vegans, creationists and other extremists believe in the insanity principle, religiously.
Let's not forget that the GOP is now run by, or at least pandering to, the religious reich. For them, facts are what they want them to be.
There's not need to check the veracity of anything, if they say it and want to believe it, that's good enough.
If freedom means anything, it is the liberty to tell others what they do not want to hear.
White trash will be the down fall of America
As far as making changes BHO might as well be the hand-picked successor to "W". What has he changed? Has he ended tow counter-productive was? Is the prison at Guantanamo Bay closed? Did he stop the "Bailout" (nee robbery) planned by the Bush administration?
He's so good for the rethugnicans they should nominate him for their candidate instead of that crop of losers they have now. Then they could devote their resources to finding someone for 2016 who isn't a religious nut case or a pawn of the multinational corporations that are destroying the country.
Thanks for the paragraph from the Treaty of Tripoli that shows what a deluded liar Winghunter is.
