Just like many Republicans, U.S. Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) has publicly opposed Obamacare.
Last Friday, he issued a press release stating "Obamacare's a train wreck."
Sen. Vitter also supports shutting down the federal government as a way to get Congress to defund Obamacare, reported NOLA.com.
However, Sen. Vitter recently told Louisiana residents to call his office if they had questions or needed help to enroll in Obamacare (video below).
According to ThinkProgress.org, Sen. Vitter was speaking at a town hall in Hammond, Louisiana, when he said his office was helping people regarding Obamacare.
"We’re helping folks in any way we can trying to get them good information. We field calls every day in my offices in Louisiana trying to help people with individual questions and circumstances and I would encourage folks to call my office to get that guidance and help," said Sen. Vitter.
While that may seem hypocritical, some Republicans told TheHill.com they will not assist people in navigating Obamacare and obtaining benefits that they are entitled to under U.S. law.
