Obama Possibly Killing People with 'Kiss of Death' Handshake

They say you can tell a lot about a person by their handshake. So it’s only reasonable that as President of the United States, Barack Obama would have to have a strong, power handshake for when he meet and greets with world leaders.

But could his handshake be killing them?

The New York Post’s Kate Sheehy seems to think so. She theorizes that Iranian Hassan Rouhani might have saved himself from meeting an untimely death when he didn’t shake hands with Obama while in New York for the United Nations’ General Assembly.

Rouhani commented for the first time on Wednesday about the handshake that didn’t happen and said it was a matter of just not having “enough time to make it happen,” and that he’s never had a problem shaking Mr. Obama’s hand, according to MSNBC.

However, perhaps he dodged a bullet, seeing as other world leaders who didn’t skip the Obama handshake have met unfortunate situations or even deaths.

The proof? Libyan dictator Moammar Khadafy was tortured and killed by enemies after a 42-year reign, two years after President Obama shook hands with him at a G-8 summit in Italy in 2009.

Sheehy goes on to list a number of “Obama handshake victims.” Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez shared a handshake with the Commander in Chief at the Summit of the Americas in Trinidad, May 2011. Chavez died of cancer this past March.

Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak shook hands with Obama in September 2010 during a White House visit. Mubarak is now under house arrest in a military hospital outside Cairo.

If a handshake from Obama is that powerful, what could a hug from the President do?
