Obama Cuts in Line for Barbecue, Pays for Others, Angers Conservatives (Video)

President Obama was in Austin, Tx., yesterday to give a speech about the immigration crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border, but what made news was his visit to a local barbecue restaurant.

After his speech, President Obama went to Franklin Barbecue, which is known for its great food and hours of wait time.

As many presidents have done in the past at other businesses, President Obama cut in line.

“I know this is a long line. I feel real bad, but I’m gonna cut,” said President Obama, reported KXAN (video below).

The customers didn't mind as the president posed for several pictures and bought lunch for the couple in front of him, noted Austin360.com.

“How many folks are you guys feeding?" joked President Obama. "Just kidding.”

“Seems like a nice dude,” Aaron Franklin, the restaurant's owner, told the American-Statesman. “That’s our thing, no one skips the line… except Obama."

A good time was had by all, except conservatives on Twitter who were not there.

According to Eater.com, they quickly attacked President Obama for cutting in line:

If Obama didn't have to wait in line for Franklin BBQ like everyone else, then I'm seriously pissed off.

Ok traffic is one thing but skipping the line at Franklin BBQ? NO SIR OBAMA WAIT YOUR TURN

No, no, no, President Obama. You wait in line for 3 hours at Franklin's BBQ like everyone else!

apparently Obama skipped the line at Franklin's BBQ today. DICK move, bro!
