Here's a Tip: Don't Bring Guns to Jury Duty
FORT WORTH, TX -- A woman was arrested and charged with bringing a loaded handgun into the county courthouse when she arrived for jury duty.
Dayna Kay Purtee, 59, of Burleson, allegedly brought a loaded .32-caliber handgun with her when she reported for jury duty at the Tim Curry Criminal Justice Center in Fort Worth. Security screeners saw the gun on the screening machine.
Purtee was charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon in a prohibited place.
A Tarrant County Sheriff's Department spokesman told the Star-Telegram newspapers that he had no information on whether Purtee had ill intent.
"It's a moot point if she had a license for it or not," Terry Grisham told the Star-Telegram.
"This is one place that someone can't walk into with a gun."

It is pretty odd how we are law abiding citizens on one side of the door, but walk thru those doors and somehow we become crazed lunatic law breakers with guns.
Uh....yeah...
