Former Arkansas Governor and Fox News talk show host Mike Huckabee recently recalled an "awkward" and "uncomfortable" moment on his former radio show in which a woman complained about being sexually discriminated against in the workplace.
The prudish Huckabee seemed squeamish because the woman had large breasts, not over the job discrimination that she faced, noted TalkingPointsMemo.com.
“It was a woman who got fired because she said that her boss thought that her breasts were too big, and I’m not making this up,” Huckabee told Politico.com. “So I’m sitting there having to interview this woman about her boss thought her breasts were too big. I’ve had conversations with a lot of people, public and private, but this is just not one I want to have on a national radio show.”
“It was bizarre," added Huckabee. "It was absolutely the most awkward, uncomfortable conversation I think I’ve probably ever had.”
Huckabee also recalled telling his radio show producer, “Look, I don’t mind doing fun stuff, I don’t mind doing some stuff that’s off the wall, but this is the kind of topic, this isn’t going to happen again.”
Unfortunately, for millions of women, sexual discrimination is a "topic" they face daily in America without a choice. According to The Huffington Post, one in five women reported being sexually harassed by their boss.
