Journalist and television personality Piers Morgan is calling out novelist J.K. Rowling and former first daughter Chelsea Clinton after they shared a video of President Donald Trump allegedly ignoring a wheelchair-bound boy during a press conference (video below).
The video has been circulating throughout social media. It shows Trump shaking hands with people after a press conference for the "victims of Obamacare" on July 24, and appearing to ignore a little boy in a wheelchair, the Daily Mail reported.
The video was shared by Rowling on Twitter. She then posted a series of tweets condemning the president for ignoring the child.
"Trump imitated a disabled reporter. Now he pretends not to see a child in a wheelchair, as though frightened he might catch his condition," Rowling tweeted. "My mother used a wheelchair. I witnessed people uncomfortable around her disability, but if they had a shred of decency they got over it.

"So, yes, that clip of Trump looking deliberately over a disabled child's head, ignoring his outstretched hand, has touched me on the raw.
"That man occupies the most powerful office in the free world and his daily outrages against [civilized] norms are having a corrosive effect.
"How stunning, and how horrible, that Trump cannot bring himself to shake the hand of a small boy who only wanted to touch the President."

But Morgan found video footage that showed Trump greeting the child first. It appears to be shot at the beginning of the press conference, when the president was introduced into the room.
"So [Rowling's] been back on Twitter but neither deleted, nor [apologized] for, this disgraceful lie," Morgan tweeted. "Her Trump-loathing knows no honesty."
"JK Rowling, in eight tweets, raged that Trump snubbed a disabled boy," Morgan added. "This is Trump greeting that boy. Why won't she delete and [apologize]?"
Morgan didn't stop there. He also called out Chelsea for retweeting Rowling.
"Hello Piers-I hadn't seen the full video until now. I removed the retweet," Chelsea responded. "And, the President should have shaken the boy's hand at the end."
"Thank you, Chelsea. That is the right thing to do. Over to you, [Rowling]," Morgan replied. "As for your suggestion President Trump should have shaken the boy's hand in the 2nd clip, [Chelsea] - Monty's mum says this:"
Morgan then shared a screenshot of what appears to be a Facebook post by a woman claiming to be the child's mother.
"Uummmmm.....If someone can please get a message to JK Rowling: Trump didn't snub my son & Monty wasn't even trying to shake his hand," the post read. "(1. He's 3 and hand shaking is not his thing 2. he was showing off his newly acquired secret service patch). Thanks."
Trump took to Twitter to share more thoughts on Obamacare and the current state of the White House.
"If ObamaCare is hurting people, & it is, why shouldn't it hurt the insurance companies & why should Congress not be paying what public pays?" the president tweeted on July 31. "Highest Stock Market EVER, best economic numbers in years, unemployment lowest in 17 years, wages raising, border secure, S.C.: No WH chaos!"
