Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush’s favorability among Republican voters has suffered in the past six months, according to a Gallup poll.
The poll showed that Bush’s current net favorability rating of -1, with 44 percent favorable and 45 percent unfavorable, is significantly lower than the +27 rating he had in mid-July.

The rating is the worst among all the major GOP presidential hopefuls, even lower than Ohio Gov. John Kasich. The percentage of Republicans with a favorable view of Bush dropped 10 percentage points, while the number of voters with an unfavorable view increased 18 points.
Name recognition with Bush -- whose father and brother are both former presidents -- is not the problem, the poll showed. Bush’s familiarity rating is up from 81 percent to 89 percent.
