President Donald Trump supporters from the online forum 4chan have taken credit for tracking down Shia LaBeouf's hidden art project and tearing down a flag with the message, "He Will Not Divide Us."
Actor Shia LaBeouf launched an art project in protest of Trump with collaborators Nastja Sade Ronkko and Luke Turner when Trump took office on Jan. 20. The installment, titled "He Will Not Divide Us," was live streamed from the Museum of the Moving Image in New York, but was shut down after face-offs between LaBeouf -- as well as other anti-Trump protestors -- and Trump supporters turned violent.
According to Complex, the project was relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico, but was shut down once again when gunfire was heard near the exhibit.
On March 8, the "He Will Not Divide Us" Twitter account shared a photo of a flag with the project's name. The tweet included a link to a live feed of the flag and was captioned, "NOW LIVE, Unknown Location."

Within 24 hours, the location was discovered and the flag went missing from the site.
Users of the online forum 4chan took credit for removing the flag in posts on the site's /pol/ section. According to the AV Club, users were able to determine that the flag was located in the town of Greenville, Tennessee. A photo posted on social media shows a fan with LaBeouf in a Greenville diner, which helped 4chan users determine the location. Users also used flight data to determine the location of the flag by watching planes fly in the background of the live feed.
After discovering that LaBeouf's installation was determined to be located in the Tennessee town, users reportedly drove around the city of Greenville, honking car horns and listening to the echo on the "He Will Not Divide Us" live stream, in order to pinpoint the exact location of the flag.

Once found, the 4chan users stole the flag, which they then replaced with a picture of Pepe the Frog.
Though the flag was removed, the live stream continues, now filming an empty flag pole. It is not known if LaBeouf plans to re-launch the installation.
When "He Will Not Divide Us" was launched in New York in January, LaBeouf, Turner, and Ronkko explained, "Open to all, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the participatory performance will be live-streamed continuously for four years, or the duration of the presidency. In this way, the manta 'HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US' acts as a show of resistance or insistence, opposition or optimism, guided by the spirit of each individual participant and the community."
