Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said May 19 that she would be her party's nominee (video below).
Clinton made her comments during an interview with CNN host Chris Cuomo, who was asking her a question beginning with: "If you are the nominee for your party," notes Mediaite.
"I will be the nominee for my party, Chris," Clinton interjected. "That is already done, in effect. There is no way that I won’t be.”
Cuomo told Clinton that there is a "Senator from Vermont who has a different take on that. He says he's going to fight to the end."

Cuomo mentioned a rowdy video of Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont supporters at the Nevada Democratic Convention and asked Clinton if Sanders responded the right way.
Clinton wouldn't address the Sanders supporters or Sanders himself, but said, "I was very disturbed by what went on there ... what we saw disturbing."
She added, "I have every confidence we'll be unified."
Clinton recalled how she went all the way to the end with then-Senator Barack Obama in 2008, and how she worked to rally her supporters to vote for Obama even though 40 percent of Clinton's supporters said they would never vote for him.

During the same interview, Cuomo asked Clinton if she thought Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was qualified to be president and she said, "No, I do not," reports Mediaite.
Clinton said that Trump attacked Great Britain (the new Muslim mayor of London), praised the leader of North Korea, suggested pulling out of NATO and opined about giving other countries nuclear weapons.
She also slammed Trump for wanting to ban all Muslims from the U.S. and his "irresponsible, reckless and dangerous comments," which she said were a "pattern that has gone on now for months."
“I have concluded he is not qualified to be President of the United States," Clinton added.
Trump responded on his website:
The fact that Hillary thinks the temporary Muslim ban, which she calls the "Muslim ban", promotes terrorism, proves Bernie Sanders was correct when he said she is not qualified to be President.
Look at the carnage all over the world including the World Trade Center, San Bernardino, Paris, the USS Cole, Brussels and an unlimited number of other places. She and our totally ignorant President won't even use the term Radical Islamic Terrorism. And by the way, ask Hillary who blew up the plane last night - another terrible, but preventable tragedy. She has bad judgement and is unfit to serve as President at this delicate and difficult time in our country's history.
