Here's How George W. Bush Made Up For Forgetting Laura Bush's Birthday

Former President George W. Bush got the chance to exercise those skills again after he apparently forgot to wish his wife, Laura, a happy birthday.

In a Nov. 5 Facebook post that featured a photo of the couple pre-White House, the former president wrote: “Happy anniversary, Laura W. Bush. Thanks for standing by me all these years... even when I forgot to post on your birthday yesterday.”

It's safe to assume George has been forgiven for his lapse in memory, as Laura -- along with more than 670,000 other Facebook users -- liked the post. 

Laura turned 69 on Nov. 4, according to The Huffington Post. The couple married in 1977, the Houston Chronicle reports.
