An April 2012 video of Syrian rebels executing seven Syrian soldiers was recently released.

The soldiers were stripped and forced to lay on the ground while rebel leader Abdul Samad Issa recited a statement, which included: "For fifty years, they are companions to corruption. We swear to the Lord of the Throne, that this is our oath. We will take revenge."

Shortly afterwards, the video goes black, but gun shots are heard as the rebels execute the soldiers.

The video (below) was reportedly smuggled out of Syria days ago by a former aide of Issa, who gave the footage to The New York Times.

The shocking video surfaces as G20 leaders are meeting in Russia to debate the war in Syria, which has resulted in 2 million refugees fleeing the country.

The U.S. has supported the Syrian rebels in their fight against Syrian President Assad's soldiers, who are accused by the Obama administration of using chemical weapons.

However, the some of the Syrian rebels are accused of having ties to al-Qaeda.

Secretary of State John Kerry said on Wednesday that there are 70,000 to 100,000 Syrian rebels, of which 15 percent to 20 percent are “bad guys."

The former rebel, who he left his comrades because of their brutality, says the soldiers made videos of themselves raping Syrian civilians, which led to their execution.

After the execution, the bodies of the Syrian soldiers were dumped into a well.
