GOP Senator Lindsay Graham Uses Benghazi Tragedy in Campaign Ad

| by Michael Allen

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has been calling for a Special Committee to investigate the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya. He has suggested several times that there may have been some kind of cover-up or conspiracy on the part of the Obama administration.

However, Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) turned down the request for a Special Committee in a recent letter to Republican leaders: “Elections are over; it is time to put an end to the partisan politicization of national security and begin working together to strengthen our efforts to dismantle and destroy the terrorist networks that threaten us."

However, Sen. Lindsay Graham is actually using the tragedy in Benghazi as a campaigning tool for 2016.  His online ad asks people to "sign a petition" to "get to the bottom of what happened in Benghazi," reports AmericaBlog.com

People who sign the petition have to include their email adresses which will probably go into a database, which will likely send emails asking for donations.
