The Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was reportedly threatened by the terrorist group al-Shabaab.
The giant mall has a "no guns allowed" policy, which upsets Minnesota state Rep. Tony Cornish (R).
"This situation with Mall of America is completely ridiculous. It's just the opposite of what they should be doing," Cornish told WCCO. "If we’re threatened with an attack of any type, the last thing you ever want to do is disarm citizens."
The Fox News program "Fox & Friends" jumped on the story this morning and agreed that shoppers should be armed to stop terrorists, noted RawStory.com (video below).

“I do believe these no-gun policies, maybe they were passed with some degree of goodwill, but I’ve never thought they helped,” said Fox News contributor Laura Ingraham.
“How does that help? Someone who is going to commit a crime doesn’t care about a no-gun policy," added Ingraham. "The only one who has to be worried about a no-gun policy is a law-abiding American who is trained and proficient in the use of a firearm to protect oneself or others.”
