Fox News host Brian Kilmeade said the U.S. government should spy on Muslim mosques, after reporting this morning that the Tsarnaev brothers had attended the Islamic Society Cambridge Mosque (video below).
Kimaede said the Islamic Society Cambridge Mosque is operated by the Muslim American Society, which supposedly has ties to terror groups.
“I think that we should be able to put in listening devices in there,” said Kilmeade, reports MediaMatters.org.
Then Kimeade asked Fox News guest and lawyer Peter Johnson Jr., “Is that possible?”
Johnson said "no" and criticized New York state Sen. Greg Ball’s (R) call for torturing Dzokhar Tsarnaev, who was taken into custody on Friday.
“We don’t torture people here in America,” Johnson said. “We may engage in enhanced interrogation. The sentiment is fine, but on balance, it doesn’t help us.”
Johnson stated that New York City police commissioner Ray Kelly said he would follow any lead in a terrorism investigation.
