Dramatic Video: U.S. Marine is Shot in Afghanistan, but Runs to Helicopter

| by Michael Allen

A video (below) has surfaced showing an unidentified U.S. marine getting shot in the neck, but managing to run to a helicopter in Afghanistan.

The video was shot by a tiny camera strapped to another soldier.

The U.S serviceman was patrolling when he was shot. He falls to the ground, lays in a ditch and clutches his right shoulder while bleeding, reports the Daily Mail.

Another marine removes his body armor as a medic opens a pack of surgical gauze. Another soldier applies pressure to the wound.

The bandage is wrapped around his shoulder, but the soldier is starting to look pale.

Somehow, though, he runs to a waiting helicopter. The person who has the camera gives him a thumbs-up and the helicopter flies away.
