While outrage continues in the Middle East and U.S. embassies are being protested, a new ad denouncing Muslims as "savage" will appear in New York City's subway system next week, reports the Daily Mail.
The ad states: "In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat Jihad."
NYC Metropolitan Transportation Authority spokesman Aaron Donovan said the controversial ad was turned down for "demeaning" language.
However, a Manhattan federal court judge ruled, back in July, that the New York MTA violated the First Amendment rights of the ad's sponsor, the American Freedom Defense Initiative.

The judge ruled that the ad must appear, reports NBCNewYork.com.
The executive director of the American Freedom Defense Initiative is noted "birther" and anti-Muslim blogger Pamela Geller.
The Southern Poverty Law Center has called Geller "the anti-Muslim movement's most visible and flamboyant figurehead" and has categorized American Freedom Defense Initiative as a "hate group."
The pro-Israel Anti-Defamation League said that Geller "fuels and fosters anti-Muslim bigotry in society."

The American Freedom Defense Initiative also bought ad space in Washington D.C., but authorities have deferred the ad’s placement because of public safety.
The American Freedom Defense Initiative's ad appeared on public buses in San Francisco, last month, but the San Francisco transit authority, Muni, said it would donate the $3,400 ad fee to the San Francisco Human Rights Commission.
