On "Real Time with Bill Maher" this past Friday, the acidic host mocked Republicans who say that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Boston bombing suspect, should be charged as an enemy combatant.

Maher said Tsarnaev should be charged as a normal criminal in U.S. courts and then added that the U.S. has more people imprisoned, percentage-wise, than China or Iran. Maher also said the U.S. was good at executing people, reports Mediaite.com (video below).

"I'm afraid little Dzhokhar f*cked with the wrong peace-loving, Christian people," stated Maher.

"We're not dealing with evil genius bomb villains here. We caught them because he and his brother pulled over for Red Bull.. They got captured because they did not foresee that the Boston marathon would be photographed."

After noting the Department of Homeland Security's nearly one billion budget since 9/11,  Maher added: "Bin Laden's plan was to scare us into overreacting and destroy ourselves, because if there is one thing the terrorists proved they can blow up, it's our balance sheet."
