Sen. Lindsey Graham Uses Benghazi Conspiracy in Ad (Video)

| by Michael Allen

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is up for re-election in November, but has drawn fire from Tea Party candidates who have tried to paint him as soft.

In response, Sen. Graham has aired an ad (video below) that harps on the non-existent Benghazi conspiracy and his determination to "get to the bottom of it."

According to TalkingPointsMemo.com, the ad's voiceover states, "He stands up for America and our troops, challenging the president … asking the tough questions on Iran, Benghazi, and radical Islam. In a dangerous world where the only guarantee of peace is strength, Sen. Lindsey Graham stands strong."

However, Sen. Graham was debunked when he claimed that Benghazi attack survivors had not been questioned by Congress, noted MediaMatters.org.
