Ford Hiring 1,200 New Workers to Manufacture Fusion Car
Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) is looking forward to employ 1,200 staff to work at a suburban Detroit plant to manufacture the Fusion. The U.S automaker is pretty confident that sedan will do well in the market.
Mark Fields, Ford’s Americas President, said to workers at the Flat Rock unit on Monday that the market segment of Fusion is flourishing two times rapidly than all others U.S automobile companies. The new Fusion will be available in the markets later this year.
So far, Ford has been manufacturing Fusion in Mexico only, however with the addition of new workers the company has decided that it will start building Fusion in the United States. From next spring, the company will employ 1,200 staff and will make an investment of $555 million in new equipment at the unit.
