Donald Trump Responds To Megyn Kelly Comments, RedState Disinvitation

Donald Trump fired back after comments made to CNN about Fox News host and GOP debate moderator Megyn Kelly got him disinvited to a RedState event by editor Erick Erickson.

Speaking to CNN on Friday, Trump commented on moderator Megan Kelly’s questions to him at the debate.

“You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her — wherever,” he said.

Following the controversial comments, Erickson defended Kelly and announced that he rescinded the offer made to Trump to speak at his event.

“If you haven't heard, I disinvited Donald Trump,” Erickson said. He explained that after hearing Trump’s comments, he asked the billionaire businessman’s campaign whether or not he meant what was implied and if he’d clarify or apologize.

"It's disrespectful to Megyn Kelly. It's disrespectful to female journalists,” Erickson said. “I don't want my daughter in the room with Donald Trump."

Trump’s camp later responded to Erickson’s announcement, calling him a “total loser” who has a history of “supporting establishment losers in failed campaigns” and adding that “only a deviant would think anything else” about his comments.

“Mr. Trump made Megyn Kelly look really bad --- she was a mess with her anger and totally caught off guard,” his campaign said. “Mr. Trump said "blood was coming out of her eyes and whatever" meaning nose, but wanted to move on to more important topics."
