Trump: Hillary, Jeb Bush Can't Create Jobs Like I Will

| by Ethan Brown

With his controversial comments about Mexican immigrants still making headlines over three weeks after his announcement speech, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump made another shocking claim in a new interview with NBC News.

“I have a great relationship with the Mexican people. I have many people working for me – look at the job in Washington – I have many legal immigrants working with me. And many of them come from Mexico. They love me, I love them. And I’ll tell you something, if I get the nomination, I’ll win the Latino vote,” the billionaire businessman said in the interview on July 8.

After cancelled business relationships with Univision, NBC, Macy’s, and NASCAR, Trump is continuing to stand by his initial comments where he alleged that many Mexican immigrants were “rapists” and that the country was not “sending the best” people.

In the interview, Trump focused on his record of creating thousands of jobs through his numerous hotels, golf resorts and other locations around the world.

“Hillary Clinton is not going to be able to create jobs, I will tell you right now. Neither is Jeb Bush going to be able to create jobs. I will create jobs and the Latinos will have jobs that they don’t have right now. And I will win that vote,” Trump said.

Trump also attacked Clinton’s “weak” immigration policies and views, saying she would “let everybody come in … killers, criminals, drug dealers.” He also called her tenure as U.S. Secretary of State “the worst in the history of our nation.”

“The world blew up around us,” Trump said, referring to deteriorating relations between the United States and Russia, the Arab Spring in 2011 that saw many Middle Eastern countries in disarray after overthrowing their leaders, and the advancement of the Islamic State (ISIS).

Trump also assured viewers that he would “make” Mexico pay for the wall he wishes to construct to stop illegal immigrants entering the United States.

“Mexico’s making a fortune off the United States. I would get them to pay for the wall. Believe me,” he added.
