During the third Republican presidential debate, current front-runner Donald Trump called gun-free zones, such as schools and military bases, “target practice for the sickos.”

“That’s target practice for the sickos and the mentally ill. That’s targets. They look around for gun-free zones,” Trump said, according to The Washington Post. “I think gun-free zones are a catastrophe. They are feeding frenzy for sick people.”

Trump's official position on gun control mentions he has a concealed-carry permit -- twice.

He reminded the audience of his license to carry firearms again at the Oct. 28 debate.

“I have a permit, which is very unusual in New York, to have a permit to carry,” he said, according to The Daily Caller.

“I do carry on occasion, sometimes a lot, but I like to be unpredictable ... by the way, unlike our country, where we're totally predictable.”
