Brad Dayspring, communications director for the National Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee, recently attacked Democrat Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes, who is running against Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).

During an interview with TheHill.com, Dayspring compared Lundergan to a high school student who “babbles incoherently” and called her “an empty dress."

“Alison Lundergan Grimes seems incapable of articulating her own thoughts, and faced with questions, either directly parrots the talking points handed to her by [Sen.] Chuck Schumer or she babbles incoherently and stares blankly into the camera as though she’s a freshman in high school struggling to remember the CliffsNotes after forgetting to read her homework assignment,” said Dayspring.

Ironically, Sen. McConnell has accused Grimes of trying to “divide people with gender-based attacks," noted MyCN2.com.

Sen. McConnell, who recently launched his "Women for Team Mitch" coalition, has voted against the Violence Against Women Act and to block laws that would protect women against wage discrimination.
