Just when you thought Anthony Weiner's campaign to be New York City's next mayor couldn't get any worse, it does.
After a recent NYC candidate forum at the AARP, Weiner, 48, touched the chest of 69-year-old Republican candidate George McDonald, who responded: "Don't put your hands on me ever again."
Weiner then asked McDonald, "Really, what's going to happen if I do? Tough guy, now?"
"Yeah. Yeah I am," responded McDonald.
Weiner came back with, "but your anger issues," to which McDonald responded, "I don't have any anger issues."
Weiner replied, "But, you do, Grandpa."
The testy exchange was caught on video (below) by NY1.
AARP state director Beth Finkel told the Associated Press that a person's age "should not be a factor in politics, or anything else" and some comments at the forum were "unfortunate."
