Sarah Palin says Chelsea Clinton’s first pregnancy should make her mother Hillary change her pro-abortion stance and curb government spending.
“I think it will kind of broaden her world view,” Palin said in an interview with Mario Lopez on “Extra.”
“I think anyone who is a grandparent really starts looking further down the road," she explained. "We start thinking about things like $17-trillion debt that our nation is under and what we’re going to hand that to our grandkids for them to pay off … that’s not fair to our grandkids. Hopefully, she’ll start thinking along those terms, too."
“Also she - just knowing that he daughter Chelsea is pregnant with a baby, with a real baby, you know, it’s not just some disposable something,” she added. "They're in this position now as a parent or grandparent, they realize the sanctity of life. How innocent, how precious it is. And all places it should be in the womb that these babies are protected.”
“Maybe even on a social issue like that, she’ll open her eyes,” she concluded.
