Dan Joseph, of the conservative Media Research Center, recently asked college students on the campus of George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., to sign a petition that would legalize "fourth trimester abortions."

Of course, there is no such thing as a fourth trimester abortion, but several students did sign the fake petition and did not seem to be aware they were being recorded (video below) by Joseph.

“Currently fourth trimester abortions are illegal in all 50 states," Joseph told several students, notes CampusReform.org. "We want to make them legal so that women have a choice.”

"Does it cause harm to the child?” asked one female student.

“Well the child wouldn’t be there anymore,” Joseph said. “It’s abortion. The child is gone.”

However, the student signed the petition.

"I think a lot of conservatives just want to see women in the kitchen, not doing other things," Joseph tells another student. "Personally, my girlfriend can't cook."

Joseph said he did the video because the new abortion law in Texas was in the news, but failed to mention that the new law would ban all abortions after 20 weeks, even in the cases of rape and incest.
