Last week, Republican Gary Boisclair, who is challenging Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), posted an anti-Islamic ad featuring Rep. Ellison (who is Muslim), edited quotes from the Qur’an and graphic images of mass atrocities (video below).
Boisclair's ad claims that Islam’s Qur’an calls for Christians to “have their hands and feet cut off” or to be “crucified and killed.” According to the Minnesota Independent, YouTube pulled the ad from its site for violating its “policy on shocking and disgusting content.”
Popular VideoPeople were so furious about this Pepsi ad that Pepsi pulled it after just one day. Watch it here and decide if it's offensive:
The ad concludes by attacking Rep. Ellison for “swearing an oath on a Qur’an, a book that undermines our Constitution and says that you should be killed."
