During an interview on CNN's 'Early Start' this morning, Romney Communications Director Eric Fehrnstrom was asked if Mitt Romney's campaign would be hurt by the Republican primary (video below). He assured viewers that Romney's campaign could change as easily as a child's game called 'Etch A Sketch.'
Fehrnstrom said: “I think you hit a reset button for the fall campaign. Everything changes. It’s almost like an Etch A Sketch. You can kind of shake it up and restart all of over again.”
Popular VideoPeople were so furious about this Pepsi ad that Pepsi pulled it after just one day. Watch it here and decide if it's offensive:
However, CNN political analyst Ron Brownstein disagreed: "There are positions that Romney has taken on a variety of issues, particularly those relating to Hispanics and to some extent the debate over contraception and its potential effect on college-educated women, that he is going to have to deal with going forward.”
Etch A Sketch is a drawing toy that can be turned upside down and shaken to clear the screen.
