Video: Mitt Romney Won't Release Tax Returns Now “Because I Want to Beat Obama”

| by Michael Allen

During tonight’s GOP debate in South Carolina, Republican candidate Mitt Rommey said he will “probably” release his tax returns for multiple years, but received boos when he refused to commit to releasing 12 years of tax returns as his father, George Romney, did when he ran for president in 1968 (video below).

Mitt Romney said that he wouldn’t release his tax returns before he won the GOP nomination “because I want to beat Obama” and because he expects the Democrats to use his tax returns against him "because they hate people who are successful."
