Video: Mitt Romney Goes Grocery Shopping, Awkwardly

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney took the day off from campaigning to go grocery shopping, almost forgetting the grocery cart as he walked into Bradley’s Hardware, a local grocery store and pharmacy In Wolfeboro, New Hampshire (video below).

Romney left the grocery store after only 10 minutes and stiffly loaded the his purchases into a Suburban, as Secret Service men stood close by.

Romney reportedly bought 12-packs of Caffeine Free Diet Coke, Wild Cherry Diet Pepsi and some Greek yogurt.

Romney said: “I’ve got some folks coming over today." When asked if they included Sen. Rob Portman or former Gov. Tim Pawlenty, Romney laughed.
